PCH Fan Controls Head over to OCN and check in the AMD motherboard forum. The chipset features PCIe Gen 4, giving you plenty of headroom for high speed solid state drives and supported PCIe Gen 4 graphics cards, native USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports and an overall more powerful chipset. In this video I will try to show you how I finally managed to solve the problem of high temperature x570 Chipset and loud PCH fan on Asus x570i motherboard i. In order to get these control you will need to mod your bios or find someone who will or already has. The Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming is equipped to support AMD’s ‘Zen 2’, the 3rd generation of the Ryzen Processor family. As for the fan controls, Argus Monitor was the best I could find. ASUS will not and has not ever shown these and many olther fan controls. The way it was mounted was making a high pitch whistle noise. Update: Turns out, it was my Noctua nf a15 making the whiney noise. On a side note: Damn the chipset fan is loud and whiney when it ramps up! Sigh* Is there a software similar to AI Suite that I can use to control the fan speeds of this motherboard? Thanks! What I like about the Asus motherboard is their AI Suite fan control where I can pick the temperature source and the fan will speed up depending on which temps are higher. I just realized that the motherboard temp isn't the chipset temp. The Gigabyte BIOS is actually OK and can live with it, but man their software is the worse! It's laggy and just crap. too sad you can't lower that fan speed even with the latest BIOS. The only reason I went with the Master is because I've watched and read good things about it. I had an Asus motherboard before and to be honest, I prefer their BIOS and software. So I just got my first AMD processor, the 3950x and the Gigabyte x570 Aorus Master motherboard to go with it.
